How to Delete a Bank Account in Quickbooks;- After you've configured QuickBooks for online access, it downloads your bank account information from your financial institution. When you no longer use a bank account in QuickBooks, stop using it for transactions and create a closing balance transfer to your new account. If you accidentally created the account and there are no transactions in it, you can delete it. Otherwise, transfer any remaining funds to the new account first, and then deactivate the closed account in QuickBooks.
